Kalle Stenbäcken
Born in Gothenburg, Sweden
​
Kalle Stenbäcken is a concert pianist and multi-instrumentalist. After graduating in classical piano at the Academy of Music and Drama he has been active as a performer, studio musician, songwriter, arranger and classical pianist. One of his major projects has been to perform the complete cycle of Beethoven’s Piano Concertos and it was accomplished in the autumn of 2020.
The same year his first piano solo album
“Music from a Room" composed by Joel Lundberg was released. The album received notable attention when it was featured on the acclaimed Spotify playlist "Classical New Releases" shortly after its release and has been reviewed in many international blogs such as "No Dead Guys", "The Cross-Eyed Pianist" and "Nordic Simit" since then. Kalle and Joel have continued their collaboration and in 2023 the ambitious follow-up album "Odysseys and Apostrophes" was released. Both albums are recorded at "Studio Epidemin" on a fabulous Fazioli Grand Piano (https://www.epidemin.se/?page_id=264).

Kalle has a passion for different arts and is very open minded towards new music as well as collaborations with contemporary composers.
